GROUP SOCIAL MARKETING DIRECTOR
Richard is a seasoned Marketing and Communications expert with a wealth of experience gained by working in Southern, Eastern and Western Africa. Expertise gathered over a period of 38 years evolve around the various key management positions in Marketing organizations with current focus on expanding and developing Exp Social Marketing, an initiative of the Exp group.
The experience Richard has to offer covers; Advertising, Media Planning & Monitoring, Experiential Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Programme / Project Management, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Marketing (focussing on social behaviour change).
Richard has 14-years experience in Social Behaviour Change Communication / Social Marketing projects and has a proven results / impact driven record in building evidence for programs, developing strategies for and designing social behaviour change communications programs. He also has extensive experience implementing SBCC programmes, with a key focus on impact measurement.
Having managed USAID's contraceptive social marketing programme in Ghana for 9-years, Richard also has strong experience in this area.
Mr. Achola has a strong background in experiential and social intervention design, implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation, backed by 13 years of active participation in social and commercial behaviour change activities covering insights gathering, Behaviour Change Communication strategy design, project implementation, process monitoring and evaluation across development and health areas.
Mr. Achola possesses a well-developed professional, communication and interpersonal skills gained through extensive experience in leading social/commercial marketing and research projects across Exp Group footprint in Africa.
Mr. Achola holds Master of Business Administration, Master of Education and Bachelor of Education degrees and currently heads up Insights, Monitoring and Evaluation at Exp Social Marketing.
HEAD OF MONITORING, EVALUATION & MEASUREMENT
Edwin Awiti has been Strategic Director at Exp Kenya since 2013. Prior to that he was Head of Creative from 2008.
In total, Edwin has 15 years strategy and creative experience in the Kenya Market and has supported the Exp offices in Exp Group's East & Central Africa Region for the last 4 years.
Edwin’s expertise cuts across both Social/Developmental and Commercial programs and campaigns and he has also been integral in developing developmental behaviour change programs over multiple thematic areas such as health, environment, education and good governance.
On the commercial side. Edwin has worked with Brands of multinational companies such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestles, Safaricom and many more.
Firoz Arbee qualified as a chartered accountant in 2016 after having completed his articles at PwC in Pretoria. Firoz joined the Group as the Group Financial Manager in 2016
